Scott’s project management and design experience spans over 30 years of unique projects ranging from one-of-a-kind furniture designs to corporate headquarters and presidential libraries. Scott possesses a unique and invaluable knowledge in planning and critical community development expertise.

With an emphasis in project design, documentation, and management, Craig has been involved with firms in London, England; New York; Kansas City; and Los Angeles. His emphasis on design— with a decisive eye toward context, critical thought, and aesthetic demands— has led to engaging solutions that continue to be inspiring, mindful, and critically praised. Craig has has over 25 years of experience and has lectured on architecture and meaning throughout the United States.

Since LSA’s founding in 1992, partners Scott Laidlaw and Craig Schultz have completed successful projects of considerable size and complexity. These include academic campus sites such as the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at Los Angeles; and business campuses such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox Studios, and Warner Bros. Studios. Projects within critical urban contexts include the Port Theater and The Crossing church complex; and residential work includes the Moore Ranch, Argyros vacation home, and Brown residence.

A multi-disciplinary firm encompassing both architecture and interior design, Laidlaw Schultz’s approach is not bound by scale and has lead to equally successful projects ranging in size from rugs to ranches, powder rooms to power plants.
